In the creation story of Genesis, God uses the power of spoken word to create our world. But when God set about creating the first human being, He changed His strategy to a slower, more personal approach. He got down on His hands and knees and formed the first human from the dust of the earth.
God still uses a personal approach to redeem us, form us, and shape our lives today, much like a potter shaping clay on a wheel. That’s what we celebrate in our faith community at Mount Blanchard Church of the Nazarene. Like pottery, even fine China, we all have experienced some kind of brokenness and together, we are all on a journey of healing, recovery, and formation into the likeness of Christ.
You’re invited to join us on this journey. In a world where there is so much loneliness and confusion, we’ve found that the journey is better together.
